Recipe FAQ’s

What are fish sticks made of?

Generally frozen fish sticks are made of mild white fish, such as cod, haddock or pollock.

How do I pick a good quality frozen fish stick?

Choose a fish stick that has a crispy breading. Also look for a fish stick that is made with fish fillet, NOT minced fish. Even better if they name the actual fish type on the package (ex. cod, haddock, pollock).

I just knew when I saw the ingredients this was hands down the only “fish sticks taco recipe I will ever need…first time I made them, everybody loved them and couldn’t believe they were made from frozen fish sticks. They loved the slaw and the “tartar sauce” to death! Now they call me Chef Joe.
