Planning dinner for your family for an entire week can be hard! What should we eat for dinner? What do I need to buy at the store? Let me answer both of those questions with my free weekly meal plan including a printable grocery list (and bonus leftover re-do ideas)!
Free Family Meal Plan
Your family needs to eat, and the job of feeding them lands squarely on your shoulders.
The key to making this job easy is MEAL PLANNING!
Plan all your meals for the week, write out your grocery list, and then head to the store to buy the groceries. Sounds easy enough, but I think a lot of us just end up at the grocery store buying the same things week after week, and then we get home and say “I have nothing to cook for dinner!”
Prevent this from happening now! Sign up for the Mom’s Dinner Newsletter and have my Weekly Menu Plan and Printable Grocery List delivered to your email every Friday morning. Cross off the groceries you already have in your kitchen and head to the store completely prepared!
Weekly Meal Plan #10
I provide 4 delicious and easy dinners, with recipes, that you can make for your family this week. You simply add three more meals and your 7 day family meal plan is done. Here are three dinner categories I recommend adding to your plan :
- One night out.
- A leftover night (leftover re-do ideas provided below)
- Kids Choice night (think pizza, chicken fingers, tacos, spaghetti, or mac n’ cheese)
I have other meal plans too, if this one isn’t your jam!
Instant Pot Turkey Meatballs & Spaghetti
We love a spaghetti and meatball night at my house. When I tell my kids this is on the menu they actually fist pump! That is high praise from some picky a%# eaters!! These turkey meatballs are super easy to make, no sauteing or chopping required. Just mix the ingredients and cook them in the Instant Pot for a few minutes. Dinner’s ready!
Serve these Instant Pot Turkey Meatballs over spaghetti with a side salad and some crusty garlic bread. Yum.
Instant Pot Chicken & Rice Soup
Even if you forgot to thaw the chicken for dinner, again, you can get this Instant Pot Chicken & Rice Soup made and on the table in under 30 minutes.
Chili Maple Shrimp
If you are following meat-free Fridays during Lent, then you will love this dinner. Chili Maple Glazed Shrimp from Went Here 8 ThisWent Here 8 This. A little sweet and spicy sauteed shrimp will be perfect for your Friday dinner plans.
Serve this with a side of rice pilaf and oven roasted broccoli.
Enchirito
Keeping things really easy this week! Enchiritos are the perfect combo of enchilada and burrito. These make an awesome dinner and great leftovers!
Serve these with store-bought Mexican rice and chips with salsa.
Leftover Re-Do Ideas
- Leftover turkey meatballs make amazing Meatball Sub Sandwiches.
- Use any chili maple shrimp leftovers by making a Ramen noodle packet (discard the seasoning), mix with some frozen Asian veggies, and some store-bought Gochujang sauce. YUM!
- Enchiritos are just plain delish the second time around… no re-do here!
- Turkey Meatballs are also great served alone, with a side of veggies.
- Leftover Shrimp would make amazing Shrimp Tacos (and use the Chili Lime Crema recipe from my Veggie Enchilada Recipe.
- Heck, you could add the shrimp to my Veggie Enchilada recipe, that would be amazing!
