Weekly Meal Plan and Printable Grocery List #2

By Susie Weinrich · Date Feb 26, 2020· Leave a Comment · May contain affiliate links.

What should we eat this week? How do I make a family meal plan? Let me answer both of those questions with my free weekly meal plan including a printable grocery list!

Family Meal Plan

Your family needs to eat, and the job of feeding them lands squarely on your shoulders.

The key to making this job easy is MEAL PLANNING!

Plan all your meals for the week, write out your grocery list, and then head to the store to buy the groceries. Sounds easy enough, but I think a lot of us just end up at the grocery store buying the same things week after week, and then we get home and say “I have nothing to cook for dinner!”

Prevent this from happening now! Sign up for the Mom’s Dinner Newsletter and have my Weekly Menu Plan and Printable Grocery List delivered to your email every Friday morning. Cross off the groceries you already have in your kitchen and head to the store completely prepared!

Weekly Meal Plan #2

I provide 4 delicious and easy dinners, with recipes, that you can make for your family this week. You simply add three more meals and your 7 day family meal plan is done. Here are three dinner categories I recommend adding to your plan :

  • One night out.
  • A leftover night (leftover re-do ideas provided below)
  • Kids Choice night (think pizza, chicken fingers, tacos, spaghetti, or mac n’ cheese)

Instant Pot Turkey Meatballs

This dinner is a huge winner at our house. My kids actually fist pump when it is one the menu! Not to mention that these Instant Pot Turkey Meatballs are SUPER easy to make, no chopping or sauteing required.
Serve these over spaghetti (or whatever pasta you your kids like), and a green salad.

BBQ Chicken in Parchment with Peppers & Onions

Barbecue Chicken in Parchment is one of the OG recipes on Mom’s Dinner! Not to mention still one of my favorites. Your entire dinner is cooked in one little packet- BBQ Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Peppers, and Onions. Easy to make, easy to eat, easy to clean up.

Italian Chicken, Green Beans, and Potatoes

We are keeping things really easy with this recipe for Italian Chicken, Green Beans and Potatoes from Grace and Good Eats. Pop everything in one baking dish, bake it for 1 hour and dinner is ready. I know this dinner will be a winner at my house, for me AND the kids.

Enchilada Zucchini Boats

If you have been around Mom’s Dinner for a while then you know I cannot resist a good enchilada! So this Sunday sit down to one of my favorites, lightened up just a smidge, Enchilada Zucchini Boats.
You can serve this with my 15 minute Refried Beans and Chips, Salsa & Guacamole.
