Ingredients
Ketchup – Perfect sugary, tomato based sauce to build the meatloaf glaze.
Dry Mustard – Adds a zing and depth of flavor to the glaze.
Brown Sugar – Balances the tartness of the ketchup and vinegar. It also helps the glaze caramelize a little on top of the meatloaf.
Apple Cider Vinegar – Adds a tanginess to the glaze that balances everything out.
How To Use Meatloaf Glaze
To make the glaze you just need to stir all the ingredients together. Make sure all the brown sugar is stirred in and there are no clumps remaining. It’s as simple as that! Then to use the glaze pour it over the top of your formed raw meatloaf. Spread it out so it coats the top evenly. Pop it in the oven for the amount of the time the recipe calls for.
