Do I need to have champagne, sparkling wine or prosecco to make a mimosa? The answer is no! You can make this Beermosa, which is a mix of a light beer and orange juice. It still has the bubbles and alcohol of a traditional mimosa. But this one is easy to make with the beer you already have in your fridge!

a champagne flute with a beermosa

Serve this beer cocktail up in a flute or stemmed glass. Ice is optional as is the garnish; mint, orange slice, or strawberry. For an extra layer of flavor, run an orange around the rim of the glass and dip in Tajin!

Ingredient Details

Just two simple ingredients for this Beermosa! Choose the ones you love:

Light Beer: make sure that you light beer is ice cold, and one that you like to drink! A Belgium style beer would be great for your Beermosa, especially an orange flavored one like Blue Moon or Light Blue Moon.

Orange Juice: just like the beer, make sure your orange juice is nice and cold! We love a lot of pulp in our OJ, but if you are serving a crowd you might want to choose an orange juice with no pulp.

Beermosa Cocktail

Just like a bubbly champagne mimosa cocktail, but this mimosa is made with a light beer and orange juice. Add an orange or strawberry on the side, it's the perfect beer cocktail for brunch.
