A dutch oven beef stew that is simple to put together and then is slow cooked in the oven for 5 hours. It has cooked all day flavor, tender beef & perfectly cooked vegetables in a thick tomato based sauce. This makes an excellent dinner.
Mix all the ingredients together in a dutch oven and place in the oven, covered with the lid, at 250 degrees for 5 hours.Stir the pot 2 times during cooking.Remove the bay leaves before serving.
