Apple Crostata w/ Caramel Sauce

Brown Sugar Karo Syrup Butter Heavy Cream
You can make your own crust (recipe included), or buy a refrigerated crust at the store.
Peel, core and cut your apples into 1/2 inch pieces.
Toss the apples with lemon juice, then add the brown sugar, flour, vanilla, salt & spices.
Roll out your dough. A crostata is a VERY rustic pie, so no need to make it look perfect!!
Place the dough on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Then fill the crust w/ the apples and fold the edges over by an inch or two.
Brush the crust with an egg wash, then bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.
While the crostata bakes make the caramel sauce.
Serve the crostata cut into wedges, drizzled with caramel sauce.
