The Best Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

Ingredients: Russet Potatoes Ham Butter Onion Garlic Seasoned Salt Heavy Cream Chicken Broth Flour Cream Cheese Cheddar Cheese

Start by peeling and slicing your potatoes, 1/8 inch thick.

Coat the sliced potatoes in  1/2 cup heavy cream to slow the browning process.

Make an onion and garlic cream sauce that gets layered into the potatoes and ham.

Time to layer the potatoes, ham and cream sauce...

Start with a heaping cup of sauce on the bottom of a buttered 9x13 casserole dish.

Add a layer of potatoes...

Top with another cup of the cream sauce...

Sprinkle on half of the cooked ham...

Repeat all the layers....

Then finish by topping with 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake, covered, at 400 for 70 mins. Remove the foil and bake another 30 mins. 

Scalloped Potatoes & Ham makes an excellent family dinner! Serve with garlic bread and a green salad.
