Ingredients

  • 1 part silver tequila
  • 2 parts fresh grapefruit juice *see note
  • 1 part rosemary infused Triple Sec
  • fresh rosemary sprig- for garnish and swizzle

Rosemary Infused Triple Sec

  • 1/2 cup triple sec
  • 2 fresh rosemary sprigs

Instructions

Rosemary Infused Triple Sec

  • Place 1-2 fresh rosemary sprigs in a small pan over low heat. Bruise the rosemary by tamping it with the handle of a wooden spoon or a drink muddler. 
    Add 1/2 cup Triple Sec and let it warm with the rosemary for 5-10 minutes. Do not let it simmer or boil. (Note: 1/2 cup will make a few cocktails. To make a lot of drinks add more triple sec and a few more rosemary sprigs)
    Let the mixture cool slightly then discard the rosemary sprig.

Rosemary Paloma

  • In a glass full of ice mix one part tequila, two parts fresh grapefruit juice, and one part rosemary infused Triple Sec. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig. 

Notes

A "part" is a unit of measure. For example:
1 part tequila = 1 ounce, therefore 2 parts grapefruit juice = 2 ounces
**Grapefruit Juice: If you are making a lot of cocktails for a party I recommend finding a good bottled grapefruit juice that does not have sugar added, so it is still tart. Then serve the cocktails with fresh cut grapefruit wedges added to the glass.
