Cookie Swap Party
A cookie swap party is a get together where everyone brings a certain amount of cookies (related to how many people are coming). You set out all the cookies and “trade” your sweets. You end up with a delicious assortment of cookies to take home at the end.
If you are attending or hosting a cookie swap party this year, this is a great list to turn to. There are some Easy Christmas Cookie recipes for your cookie exchange, if you are not a baker extraordinaire, or some Old Fashioned Cookie recipes to keep with tradition, or some Unique Cookie recipes for something new to try.
Whichever direction you end up going…. they are sure to be delicious!
Edible Christmas Gifts
Sometimes I find all the shopping during Christmas a little overwhelming (I am not a shopper!!!). So giving an edible gift is sometimes a little easier for me.
Wrap any of these homemade cookies in cellophane and tie it to a glass jug of milk (in KC we have Shatto Milk) with a beautiful ribbon and you have an awesome Homemade Edible Christmas Gift.
